“Sweet Gristle” is a collection of older tunes from the Koch catalog that take on a new life when performed by the Koch Marshall Trio. Five tunes performed live at the Sweetwater Studios, including “Welchz Grape”, “Unrepentant” and “Sweet Tea” along with two new tunes tracked at Sweetwater.
“Orange Roominations” is comprised of eleven instrumental tracks, workshopped during the many live streams from the Koch “Orange Room” that were heavily watched during the pandemic and after. From the fiery opener “The Ripper”, the anthemic “Orange Church” to the ominously soulful “Railman’s Tale”, “Orange Roominations” is a heavy dose of the Kochian blend of blues, funk, jazz and rock and roll performed by arguably the best ever platform for this stew, the Koch Marshall Trio; comprised of Greg’s groovulant son, Dylan and the Hammond organ specialist, Toby Lee Marshall.
